Multiple McGill Clients Surpass Federal and State Drinking Water Standards

The N.C. Division of Water Resources recently honored 51 water treatment plants for exceeding federal and state drinking water standards in 2016, 20 of which are some of McGill Associates’ longtime clients. Though all drinking water systems must meet strict state and federal drinking water standards, the following list of McGill Associates’ clients demonstrated a more rigorous set of drinking water performance goals. City of Oxford Celebrates 2017 North Carolina Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Master Plan

The City of Oxford was successful in securing funding from DWI for significant water and sewer system replacement projects. The water project will replace approximately 35,000 linear feet of 2-inch through 8-inch aged water lines dating back to 1905. The sewer project will replace approximately 25,000 linear feet of 8-inch through 15-inch aged gravity sewers, reducing infiltration and inflow into the sewer system.
