Juneteenth

Juneteenth is an annual holiday celebrated on June 19th to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. It marks the day in 1865 when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, and informed the last remaining enslaved individuals that they were free, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation had been issued. Celebrate this day with music, food, and spending time together as a community.

Independence Day

Independence Day, also known as the Fourth of July, is a national holiday in the United States that commemorates the country’s declaration of independence from Great Britain on July 4, 1776. There are ways to celebrate all day long with parades, food, music, and fireworks. Take advantage of these awesome events.
