McGill Associates Joins Forces with Triangle Civilworks
Continuing to Grow Footprint in the Triangle Region
On May 1st, McGill Associates, P.A. announced a strategic merger with Triangle Civilworks, P.A., a civil engineering company based in Johnston County, North Carolina, that has deep ties to the Research Triangle area. The two companies joined forces and combined resources in their Cary and Smithfield offices, to increase service offerings in the region.
McGill’s President, Joel Storrow, stated, “Triangle Civilworks complements the firm’s expansion of its footprint in central and eastern North Carolina and blends in well with our commitment of superior service to our respective clients. We are thrilled to welcome Triangle Civilworks to the McGill Team.”
Meet the Team
The Triangle Civilworks team is led by Gene Cobb, PE, PLS, Dan Simmons, and Chad Simmons, PE, who collectively have over 100 years of engineering and surveying experience. Along with their talented staff, Triangle Civilworks serves a mix of public and private clients in commercial, industrial, and residential assignments. Gene and Dan are veterans of civil engineering in the region, having both started their careers with Ragsdale Consultants in Smithfield and Raleigh.
