Bessemer City Downtown Centennial Park Opens

McGill Associates On Hand to Celebrate Grand Opening

 

McGill Associates provided planning and design services for the expansion of Bessemer City‘s Downtown Centennial Park, which becomes a new hotspot for downtown events and recreation. The park was established from the demolition of two dilapidated buildings along West Virginia Avenue that were too costly to renovate. Our services included an elevated open air stage, dance and seating areas, artificial turf lawn area, and lighting.

 

We were on hand in September to help celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon cutting. Thank you to Bessemer City for allowing us to assist with this important community project!
